Thompson Park is the best place to host a community event. There have been many types of events held at Thompson Park over the years. Some are still ongoing, while others are not. As much as we would like to see more annual events at Thompson Park, unfortunately, there are not enough volunteers to coordinate events.
The following are just a few ideas for events we would like to see hosted annually in the park. This list could be never ending!
- East Liverpool’s Got Talent
- Concerts
- Ethnic Day
- Wellness Day
- Craft Day
- Soup Contest
- Earth Day
- Educational workshops of different types
If you or someone you know would like to coordinate or host an event in Thompson Park, please contact Robb Kenny the park superintendent or present your ideas to the park board. If your event is approved, you will have access to free advertisement on the Thompson Park Website. Just contact Amy Hissom with all the details ASAP. The longer you advertise, the more successful your event will be.
